today

I'm not having the best day today. I managed to (somehow) sleep through my alarm. Kinda hard to do cos it's right next to my ear and goes off a lot, quite loudly. Unless of course i managed to wake up, turn it off and go back to sleep without actually waking up. Anyway, how do i know this? Well, my friend called me at 5 to 9, asking where i was. And i was thinking "what do you mean, where am i? why, what time is it? Oh, it's 5 to 9. And i'm in bed. Bollocks!" So yeah... didnt make it in to my 9 lecture... oops.

So i left the house, got to the bus stop without checking that i had change in my purse before leaving. And when i get there i realise that i have change... but i may not actually have enough. This day just gets better and better. I swear, about 40p of my bus fair was made up of coppers!

Made it to my second lecture though. And it was confusing! So i've been spending the last hour or so reading through it trying to understand what the hell it's going on about. And let me tell ya... it's NOT going well. End of the lecture, i move down the row cos Amy and Jeff and Gui were sitting the row behind me and i wanted to chat, and as i do so, Jeff leans down looking for his pen lid, and somehow Amy thought that he was going to kiss me! And yeah, he IS cute and all, but as far as i know he's taken. So we looked at her like she was insane. And then she kept accusing me of keeping "us" from her. So we spent about 5 minutes trying to convince her that we are NOT together. I dunno.

Went out for lunch with Amy in town. Which was fun. Got home at about half 1, looked to see when i was in tomorrow, and realised that i should have been in a lecture since 1. Not at home. Since starting uni i have missed 2 lectures, both today. Agian with the oops...

And now it is FREEZING in the house. The heating's on and everything, it just doesn't feel like it! *shivers in cold* I think i'll go put some gloves on... And curl up in a ball somewhere and wait for this day to end. Or watch a film. Hmmm... think i'll do that.
