And yes, i am taking Taekwondo. Hee hee hee. Be afraid, be very afraid.
Look, the reason i haven't updated is because i DON'T have the net at home... we don't ever have a router to link all the computers together, so we can't do it through someone else's computer!
Well, i got 15 mins, so i'll qrite a quick one now... ok?
Uni is going ok. Looked at my timetable... some days are ok, only 1 or 2 lectures together, but thursdays are pains. I have an hour lecture between 10 and 11, then a lecture at 4 till 5. With nothing, for the first few weeks, inbetween. It gets a little better after week 3, cos i get 3 hour praticles in the gap... I said that was a good thing, right?
Housemates are nice, especially Emma, who has sorta taken me under her wing, and is looking out for me and all. And it was because of her... and a lot of Malibu and Sambrika, that i have actually watched Team America again... Despite promising that i would never touch the thing again even with the aid of a 10 foot barge pole. (6 foot seemed too short!)
Been out a few times with the guys down the road too. They were mainly on the same floor last year, and a fair number of them shared flats, so they all know each other. They're cool, except a couple of the lads seemed to think that they needed to outshine the other to make my approval... all they showed me was that they're full of themselves. And they've taken to calling me flower... What's with that? Seriously?!
Got myself a new phone, same number, but on a contract now, which is good, cos it means i acn get one of the student deals that i couldn't get on my other phone. Anyway, it means that i no longer spend all my money of my phone, and actually have some money for booze. Sorry, i meant books. Really i did. (Yeah, you're not buying that either are you?)
Birmingham's a nice city. Once you get to know your way around. Got a huge Forbidden planet just down the street from where i get off the bus. I need money. I need to get a job. And yes, i am aware that i have said that many times before, and never done anything about it, but i think this time i will.
Been ill this last week. "Freshers flu" apparently. Great fun, not being able to breathe and everthing,
Got a letter off my mum today. Didn't realise just how much i missed her, hell, everybody, till i got it. I will be writing to people... honest. If i can remeber your addresses... Hey, could ya'all drop me a line or summit with them? Thanks.
Um yeah. Well, gotta go, lecture on report writing to attend. For 2 hours. oh the joys of being me!
