Hey, this should be entitled "science for public understanding"... it's along the lines of "this is an atom. Look at the pretty atom." Did a chemisrty test, and it was like "sodium has mass of 23 and atomic number 11. How many neutrons?" "How many electrons?" "It becomes Na+, how many electrons?" And there were about 10 questions of that magnigtude... and the pass mark of this test is 8. EIGHT! And it was fairly easy... maybe 4 questions were based on A A-level Chem, not AS A level chem or heck, even GCSE level chem.
Still, it means i get a chance to write this. I know, i know, i should be paying attention, but you guys have to understand, this guy is a worse teacher than Earl was when he was going through a set text.
Help!! I feel like i'm falling asleep. Oh, just answered a question correctly. Means he'll think i'm still awake and paying attention. Ye gods, if i have to attend these for the next 4 weeks i'll die! Hmmm, maybe if i get in touch with the course programmer i could beg off with my AS level chem. Ok, so it's not a full chem A level, but i think i got about 14ish/20 for the little test... Must get in touch with him...
God, this session is timetabled for another 1 1/4. Ah, we're allowed to go! Woo HOO!! FREEDOM!!!!

Sounds reeeeeally exciting! lol! I never gave my SPU textbook back to spite them, aren't I a little rebel! hehe!

Thought you didn't even take PUS?
Yeah I'm doing pretty basic chemistry in one of my modules as well. And its first thing on a monday! Not a good one for staying awake :(

What is it with you lot? Wheres the motivation? Come one, its uni, you WANT to learn. Repeat after me, "I want to learn. Lectures are good. I love lectures."
...Actually, this work Im doin now is pretty rubbish....and counterpoint.....*yawn*....
I had one lesson of SPU before I decided to go on strike and not do it. hehe!
