Wait, it's what day?!
Ok, so i just realised that my sister's birthday isn't techniacally today, but is infact next week. But in my defence she did say it was today, so she doesn't know when her own birthday is! Ok... moving on...
Had an actual lecture today, not these wishywashy this is what the course is on, but an actual lecture. That lasted the actual 50 minutes it was supposed to. And then resultedin us all being told off by our next lecturer for being late to the practcal session. Our first one, by the way, when we had only just learnt where the locker room was.
Anway, he gave us about 50 minute "informal" lecture about the microscope, and the history of it and all the differnt types and components and whatnot, before giving us step by step instructions on how to set up the microscopes for viewing a speciman... as if we had never used one before ever.
Something i've noticed about the lecturers, here at least. They don't think that the 6th forms we all went to were good enough for their satisfaction. They're alays saying that they faied in this way or that way or the other way. What makes them all high and mighty all of a sudden?!
Went out to the Guild. Wednesday is the "cheapy" day, with a number of drinks being a pound. Before hand Emma and I got absolutely wasted on the remaining Malibu from Saturday, then i didn't drink anything else when we got there. So by the time we left i had sobered up. And the guild is on of those places that is ok when you're drunk, but boring when you're sober.
Still, got chatting to one of the bouncers there. Always good to befriend them, keeps you out of trouble for the most part. Anyway, he seemed a bit too flirty for our liking today. But still. Came home early... if you call 1 early.
Got a rubbish day tomorrow timewise. Got a lecture at 11-12, then a lecture at 5-6, then taekwondo, if i feel up for it, 7:30-9:30. Which is potentially 3 bus trips, but i'll probably just take my kwondo stuff with me when i go back in in the evening. Going to get hectic later in the term though. We get 3 hour practicals in the 5 hour gap, so i'll probably just stay in all day, meaning i'll have to bring all my stuffin at the beginning of the day. oh joys!

Its like a plague!
You have a locker room! Lucky so and so!
Lecturers always look down on everyone, thats why they're lecturers. They want to cure the world of ignorance, yep, cos thats gonna happen! hehe!
(if you're wondering about my anger at lecturers check out what time I posted this at Chibs! Is this a time my brain NORMALLY functions at?!)

Heh everyone says that the first year of uni is a repeat of your A Levels and it is.
I didn't notice it cause I hadn't happened to study Media before in my life so I could learn all this new stuff quite happily.
Don't worry, once they're settled you'll be able to prat on with them...there again they are science letcureers so I think you might have to make up daft names for them cause I don't think they get any better.
Media people are just weird anyway so it's always a laugh
