Frank

Ok, before i go into the bulk of this post, i will first introduce you to Frank. Frank is Emma's budgie. A nice quiet (for the most part) bird, that lives in her room. And tonight, Frank made a bid for freedom.

Me and Emma were catching up cos she had been away for the weekend, and she's someone who i can talk to about everything and anything. So i'm sitting chatting whist she changes Frank's grit in the cage. And Frank, the nice quiet little thing that he is, flys out of the open door in the cage and flys madly around the room. And gives me and Emma a fright. But we're ok, all we need to do is get the bird back in the cage. Piece of cake.

Geeting blood out of a stone would probably have been easier.

I swear, that bird wanted nothing more to do with that cage. So after about 10 minutes, we give up on the corner him back to the cage idea, and go for the trap him in a box idea. And that doesn't work... and he flys behind the wardrobe. And Emma, bless her, starts having kittens. So i'm holding the wardrobe at a wwired angle, and if i let it go it's going to crush me or the bird, neither of which is an option. But eventually we get him out from behind the wardrobe, only for him to fly off again.

Eventually he stresses out so much that he cowers in the sleeping bag in her room, and we get him back in the cage. We're pretty cerrtain it'll be a miricle if he doesnt die of shock overnight.

So yeah. Recovering from a small panic attack, think i may have almost had a heart attack, but we're all ok.

And to think i thought not living on campus would be dull!
